You could qualify to have 33% to a maximum of $1300 of the cost of insulating your home paid for by the Government.
Conditions apply - to be eligible you must:
- Own your own home (Landlords can also qualify if the below criteria are met)
- House built prior to 1st Jan 2000
- Have ceiling insulation fitted or 'topped up' if there is existing, and have underfloor insulation installed if it is possible
Grants: One off grants of 33% of the cost of the insulation measures up to a maximum of $1300 incl GST, plus an additional $500 towards clean heating such as a heatpump. Community Services Card holders can access grants up to 60% off the insulation and up to $1200 towards clean heating.
